Meet Robert Varga, a seasoned artisan with a passion for craftsmanship and a journey spanning continents. At 42 years old, he brings nearly two decades of expertise in the world of architectural design and construction.

Hailing from Hungary, Robert was first introduced to the enchanting art of Venetian plaster nearly twenty years ago. Since then, this ancient technique has become more than just a skill—it's a form of expression, a medium through which he transforms spaces into works of art.

Upon relocating to the United States, Robert delved into the realm of roofing, specializing in slate and copper installations in the heart of Ohio. However, his entrepreneurial spirit and love for transformative projects led to the establishment of a successful house remodeling company alongside his wife.

 

Throughout this venture, Venetian and Moroccan plaster became hallmark elements of their designs, gracing residential and commercial spaces alike.

Driven by a relentless pursuit of mastery, Robert honed his skills through countless projects, both for clients and personal exploration. This dedication culminated in the decision to launch thePlasterist, a testament to his commitment to delivering excellence in plastering craftsmanship.

Embracing innovation and diversification, Robert recently completed Microcement training, further expanding his repertoire and ensuring he stays at the forefront of industry trends.
